Oracle CCS Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Commerce Cloud Service (CCS) Developer to join our Hyderabad team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle CCS (Oracle CX Commerce) solutions, with a solid understanding of e-commerce platforms, integrations, and front-end customization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize solutions using Oracle Commerce Cloud Service (OCCS / Oracle CX Commerce)
• Develop and customize widgets, layouts, and themes using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Knockout.js
• Configure catalogs, products, pricing, promotions, and checkout flows
• Implement REST API integrations with third-party systems (ERP, OMS, Payment Gateways, etc.)
• Work on extensions and server-side development using Node.js
• Collaborate with business analysts, UI/UX teams, and backend developers to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning
• Support deployments, environment configurations, and production issues
• Ensure best practices for security, scalability, and performance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Commerce Cloud Service (OCCS / Oracle CX Commerce)
• Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Knockout.js
• Experience with Node.js and OCCS server-side extensions
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON
• Experience in e-commerce domain (catalog, cart, checkout, promotions, payments)
• Familiarity with Git / version control systems
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Good to Have

• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP / Order Management integrations
• Exposure to cloud platforms (OCI preferred)
• Performance optimization and SEO best practices for e-commerce

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
